PHN is looking for an IT specialist to join our team to help service our clients in the Tri-State area. The prospective team member will be working with our clients assisting with maintenance and technical support issues. In addition, the team member may be required to assist in other projects as needed, such as system deployments and wiring.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Troubleshooting: diagnose, repair and test PC and Network issues.
- Setup PC hardware and accessories, install and configure software, drivers, and printers.
- Schedule, perform and document regular routine PC maintenance.
- Provide remote support via Phone and/or TeamViewer.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, comfort, and safety.
What We Are Looking For:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 – 3 years of experience in computer troubleshooting and repair.
- Knowledge of Networking and TCP/IP.
- Familiarity with Windows Based Environments.
- Experience in consulting and working in a multi-client environment is a plus.
- CompTIA A+ certification is preferred, but not required.
- Able to lift 25lbs as needed.
- Able to communicate effectively with clientele.
- Adaptable and flexible to handle a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Be a responsible, detail-oriented, and a self-motivated person comfortable working independently and in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a Web Designer responsible for both design and front-end development, including working with WordPress themes, plugins, and websites. Experience with the Genesis WordPress Theme is a plus. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on). Experience with responsive and adaptive design in a content management system is a must. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including planning, design, development, and deployment is preferred.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality
- Development of client websites using WordPress
- Development support for existing clients
- Project management and client communications
- Working with a team of designers and developers to complete tasks
- Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
- Assisting with support tickets to correct bugs / issues on current sites
- Formulate an effective, responsive design
- Ensure a consistent user experience across brand sites and products
Skills And Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience designing and building WordPress sites
- Strong knowledge of HTML / CSS and PHP a plus
- Experience developing and testing responsive and cross-browser friendly design websites
- Ability to design and convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
- Familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud tools
- Must be very organized, punctual, and detail oriented
- Fast learner & interested in new technologies
- Any design experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc a plus
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development and best practices is a plus
